The colourful lives of film star Joan Collins and her bestselling novelist sister, Jackie, might be dramatized in a TV sequence. Sony-backed Fable Photos, the British movie and TV producer behind “Stan & Ollie,” will make the sequence, having secured the TV rights to the Collinses’ story.
The sequence, which has the working title “Joan & Jackie,” will hint the sisters’ journeys from postwar London to Hollywood stardom as Alexis Carrington in “Dynasty” and literary fame because the writer of “Woman Boss,” respectively. No broadcaster or platform is formally hooked up but, however Sony Photos Tv will take the six-part present out internationally.
