Amber Heard shared her take on the video footage revealing her and James Franco in an elevator together the night prior to she applied for divorce from Johnny Depp in May 2016.
During the on-going libel trial in between the starlet and her ex, Heard discussed that she was “close” friends with Franco, whom she appeared in 2 motion pictures with, and felt supported by the star amidst her rocky, and apparently violent, love with Depp.
“He was my friend and he lived next door,” she remembered of her relationship with Franco, while affirming on May17 “And I had, frankly, exhausted my support network with my usual friends. I was happy to welcome as much friendship at that time that I could possibly get.”
Elevator security video, time-stamped May 22, 2016 around 11 p.m. was shown the Virginia courtroom, revealing Heard, 36, and Franco standing together as they made their method to the starlet’ penthouse. At one point in the video, the star lays his head on Heard’s shoulder and she appears to position her head on his head. They then leave the elevator together.
