The Sheffield fighter lost his IBF world title against Errol Spence Jr – and also suffered a broken orbital bone
KELL BROOK is set for ring return before Christmas – and could even fight for the WBO light middleweight title.
Brook amazingly sustained a second broken orbital bone in consecutive fights, this time against Errol Spence Jr at Bramall Lane at the weekend.
This saw the Sheffield man lose his IBF welterweight title to the American after taking a knee in the 11th round, claiming he had double vision.

Brook, 31, was out the ring for eight months after his fight with middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin which resulted in the Sheffield man having a metal plate inserted into his face.
But this time round, trainer Dominic Ingle believes Brook could be back in the ring before Christmas, and is pencilled in for an operation once the swelling has gone down.
Ingle told TalkSPORT: “He did have a holiday booked for a week off, I think he’s going to take that week and when he comes back and he’ll have the operation.
