Dangerous American has won all 21 of his fights inside the distance
KELL BROOK’S defence of his IBF world welterweight title against Errol Spence jnr will end in misery at Bramall Lane.
That is the verdict of Floyd Mayweather, who saw his protege Gervonta Davis destroy Norfolk’s Liam Walsh in three brutal roundsp at London’s Copper Box Arena to retain his world super-featherweight title.
All-time great Mayweather is now tipping Spence to rip the crown from Brook, 31, in Sheffield on Saturday and, like Davis, head back to the USA as a new world champion.

‘Money’ Mayweather said: “Brook v Spence is a very good match-up, but I have to lean towards Errol Spence for that one.”
Spence has yet to be dragged the full 12 rounds, winning all of his 21 fights before the final bell.
And Mayweather feels Spence, 27, must be taken into the later rounds if Brook is to have a chance.
The five-weight world champion added: “Errol Spence is a hell of a fighter.
“We have seen him fight good in the first six rounds or so, but we’ve never seen him fight in the late rounds, although I take nothing away from him.
“Errol is a good puncher, a good boxer, and sometimes when us fighters are put in certain positions, it brings out the best.
“Errol Spence has had to come to England as Brook’s mandatory defence and it may bring the best out of him.”

Brook returns to the ring in his home town after a first career defeat, having stepped up to middleweight to take on Gennady Golovkin.
Mayweather, who retired undefeated with a 49-0 record, said: “I’ve heard Brook talk about his fight against Triple G and that Triple G was an unbelievable fighter.
“In my book Golovkin is OK, but straight up and down with no special effects. Even at the age of 40, fighting Triple G would be easy for me. I’d school him.”
