Kelsea Ballerini is unapologetically pressing back on her haters.
The c and w star– who was struck in the face by a things toss from the crowd at a current program– called out criticism versus her for voicing her issues about safe areas after the event. Alongside a screenshot of an online remark calling her “soft” for speaking up, Kelsea composed on her Instagram Stories June 29, “a sad, scary world we live in.”
In a different post, the 29- year-old dealt with the circumstance even more. “someone threw a bracelet, it hit me in the eyes,” she composed, “and it more so just scared me than hurt me.”
And while Kelsea guaranteed fans that she’s “fine,” she kept in mind, “We all have triggers and layers of fears way deeper than what is shown, and that’s why I walked offstage to calm down and make sure myself, band and crew, and the crowd all felt safe to continue.”
