Kevin Hart’s ex-wife, Torrei, spoke out in protection of the comic after he backed out of internet hosting the Oscars over allegedly homophobic tweets and jokes.
“He is not [homophobic],” Torrei, 40, who divorced the comedian in 2011, advised Inside Version on Monday. “He is a comic and he was simply making a joke.”
Torrei shares son Hendrix, 11, and daughter Heaven, 13, with the “Night time Faculty” star, who got here beneath fireplace for saying in a standup particular that he feared his son “rising up and being homosexual … Be comfortable.
