KFC is debuting a plant-based rooster sandwich at its shops in the UK later this month.

The brand new faux-chicken providing, known as “The Imposter,” will function a vegan rooster fillet from fake-meat model Quorn – coated in KFC’s distinctive 11 herbs and spices – together with a layer of vegan mayo and iceberg lettuce on a seeded bun. It’ll reportedly begin rolling out to pick out shops within the U.Okay. on June 17 as a part of a four-week testing interval.
