Riverdale is set to resume recording amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

Lili Reinhart has actually validated that she’s preparing to take a trip from California to Canada, where the CW program is shot, in “a couple of days.” In a virtual interview with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, Aug. 18, the 23-year-old kept in mind that she’ll quarantine “for two weeks” after taking a trip, as encouraged by the CDC, prior to formally going back to set. As fans might remember, production on season 4 of Riverdale was closed down in March due to coronavirus issues.

“We had two and half episodes left,” Reinhart, who represents Betty Cooper on the series, described on The Tonight Show. “We stopped in the middle of an episode. So when we go back we have to finish three days of one episode that we were filming in March. So we’re all going to be significantly tanner…maybe I’ve gained weight during quarantine so I’ll look a little different.”

A laughing Reinhart stated the 5 months did “make quite a difference” which it will be “very easy” to identify the scenes that were shot in March vs. September.
