It may be tough to get an electrical bike from Lyft’s bike share program for the foreseeable future — a minimum of in New York, Washington and San Fransisco.

Lyft is eliminating a number of thousand electrical bikes after riders suffered issues with the electrical bikes’ braking systems, according to Reuters.

“We recently received a small number of reports from riders who experienced stronger than expected braking force on the front wheel,” the business stated in an article emailed to consumers on Sunday, according to Reuters.

Lyft didn’t instantly react to an ask for remark.

Lyft’s bike share program intends to change about 3,000 pedal-assist bikes in the 3 cities with standard bikes to avoid service disturbances, according to Reuters. Lyft currently runs around 17,000 routine bikes in New York, Washington and San Fransisco.
