MANCHESTER UNITED are confident they can lure Eric Dier away from Tottenham with a £40million bid.
Jose Mourinho has identified Dier as a summer target after becoming an important part of the Spurs team that is currently second in the table.
And the Telegraph are reporting that a deal could be struck for the England international – as long as Spurs get Michael Keane from Burnley.

Keane has been Burnley’s best player of the season and United, Everton and Liverpool are also interested in his services.
And the report suggests Keane would be more likely to move to White Hart Lane than any of the other clubs.
Dier has been used on the right of the back three by Poch this season but he has a desire to play in defensive midfield.
Victor Wanyama is currently favoured in that role, but Mourinho would play him in his favoured position if he moved to Old Trafford.
