CONNECTIONS of Carsharp hope they have the ace in the pack ahead of Saturday’s Al Basti Equiworld Gimcrack Stakes at York.
Mark Johnston’s two-year-old skipped the Prix Morny at the weekend and will have to carry a 3lb penalty for his July Stakes victory.
Charlie Johnston, son and assistant trainer, said: “He was under strong consideration for the Group 1 Prix Morny this weekend but we have decided to go to York instead.”
