LONDON — Prince Harry’s other half, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, was “saddened” by accusations released Tuesday night in a U.K. paper implicating her of bullying personnel throughout her time at Kensington Palace.
The report in the Times paper, which prices estimate unnamed sources and includes information not individually confirmed by NBC News, comes days prior to media magnate Oprah Winfrey’s hotly-anticipated interview with Meghan and Harry.
“The Duchess is saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma,” a representative for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex informed NBC News.
“She is determined to continue her work building compassion around the world and will keep striving to set an example for doing what is right and doing what is good.”
The Times declares to price quote an e-mail supposedly sent out to a senior royal authorities in 2018 by Harry and Meghan’s previous interactions secretary, Jason Knauf. NBC News has actually not seen the e-mail.
