Video revealed a silver hatchback completely in flames near Church Street in the residential area of Richmond at around 8pm on New Year’s Day, while restaurants at close-by dining establishments reported hearing ‘screams.’
Witnesses stated authorities and firemens handled to snuff out the flames prior to limiting the guy.
He was then required to health center in an ambulance with deadly injuries.
Lydia O’Connor informed The Herald Sun she was having supper at a close-by dining establishment when she heard the guy shouting.
‘He poured gas on himself and on his car. It was on purpose,’ Ms O’Connor stated.
‘He was screaming about mandates. He was screaming: no vax ID and throwing books.’
Another witness stated the guy’s ‘skin was burning’ and the flames needed to be put out with water.
‘He was off his face screaming about the mandates,’ the witness stated.
In November, Victoria presented sweeping vaccine requireds for numerous markets, needing employees to get the jab or program evidence of medical exemption if they wish to continue working onsite.
It uses in health care settings, schools, building websites, retail and transportation along with numerous other markets.
Police cordoned off the location near the crossway of Church and Swan Street after the event and informed consumers at surrounding organizations to remain inside.
Victoria Police stated it was contacted us to the crossway after reports of a male self-harming. The force verified the guy was required to health center with deadly injuries.
