U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., had a fiery trade with a reporter on Capitol Hill on Wednesday when requested to touch upon the Inexperienced New Deal.
Henry Rodgers, the Each day Caller’s Capitol Hill reporter, approached the senator at a subway station and requested him if he supported Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s legislative proposal.
Menendez averted the query and requested the place Rodgers labored. Rodgers mentioned that when he advised Menendez he labored for the Each day Caller, the Democrat responded by saying he wouldn’t reply any questions. An intern who was with Rodgers requested a follow-up query, and tensions apparently rose.

“Why do you suppose we’re trash, sir?” the reporter adopted.
“Don’t maintain harassing me anymore or I’ll race to the Capitol Police,” the New Jersey Democrat threatened.
Rodgers advised Fox Information he had no prior interplay with Menendez and was engaged on a narrative that was to incorporate the responses of Senate Democrats concerning the Inexperienced New Deal.

Menendez was criticized on social media for threatening to name the police on the reporter.
