EVERTON are looking at alternative targets to Michael Keane after Manchester United entered the race for him.
The Burnley defender has become one of the hottest properties in the Premier League after putting in some brilliant performances at centre-back.
But according to the Liverpool Echo, the Toffees have been put off a bid because of United’s interest.

United is Keane’s boyhood club but he left in 2015 to sign a three-and-a-half year deal at Turf Moor.
But now Keane is seen as one of the best defenders in the top-flight and is now valued at £25million.
Everton can afford the big price-tag after being bankrolled by Farhad Moshiri.
But with United now readying a bid of their own, the Merseyside club are looking at other options.
A move for Hull’s Harry Maguire is not out of the question after his impressive performances this season.

But a move to raid Ronald Koeman’s former club Southampton looks out of the question after the south-coast club slapped a £55m price-tag on him.

Abraham has been a sensation on loan at the Robins with 26 goals and could be a big sale in the summer, with prices of £15m being floated.
But the Toffees could use a Lukaku deal to try and get highly-rated Abraham on the cheap.
