A modeling company has filed a $500,000 Manhattan lawsuit towards a rival firm, saying it poached up-and-coming mannequin Meghan Roche in violation of her contract.
The 18-year-old mannequin — who has been featured in a Givenchy advert marketing campaign and walked the runway for labels together with Fendi and Alexander Wang — started working with Males Ladies NY Administration Inc. in 2016 and had a contract with them by means of 2021, courtroom papers say.
However Roche’s mom “abruptly” cancelled with the corporate April 15, and rival company IMG Fashions, LLC, has since reached out asking questions on Roche and supplied to separate Roche’s commissions, in response to Ladies Administration’s Manhattan Supreme Courtroom lawsuit.
