Malaysia has at all times been the Asian melting pot of tradition and race, and it appears to be like like because the eras go by, our totally different cultures and races are actually melting harmoniously into one another.
Living proof can be Emellia (@emelliashariff)‘s household, as she showcased on the @twt_malaysia Twitter account, which she is at the moment curating. She comes from a Malay-Hainanese Chinese language household which loves and celebrates one another, and along side that notion, she urged Malaysians to share photos displaying their uniquely multi-ethnic households and backgrounds with the hashtag #MalaysiaUnites.
What’s your #MalaysiaUnites story? Come share with us! 🇲🇾❤😍

And boy, did Malaysians not disappoint.
One netizen shared an image of her multiracial all-female (you go, women!) futsal workforce with the caption, “I’ve an exquisite futsal workforce, one Malaysia.”
This netizen showcased her Malay, Chinese language and Indian combined household, with the caption, “My grandma is Chinese language. My late grandpa is Indian. My mother is Chindian. My late dad is Malay.”
One other netizen displayed how Malaysians celebrated the sarong by spending a day carrying it loud and proud, “That is #Keretapisarong2018 the place all of us went out donning sarongs. Races don’t matter, everybody wore it.”
This netizen showcased how his mates get pleasure from immersing themselves in one another’s cultures, “Nothing a lot to inform. Simply celebrating each main celebrations yearly.”
There’s nothing extra heartwarming than these tweets that show we are able to beat the haters who attempt to divide us as Malaysians with the spirit of multicultural family and friends.
Emellia’s posting has since garnered over 301 retweets.
What’s your multiracial, multi-ethnic unity story? Don’t neglect to share it with the hashtag #MalaysiaUnites.
