Tourists in Thailand were left frightened recently after coming across what they believed was a naked remains on the on the beach.
Pictures reveal what seems a naked body with an exposed leg resting on the ground with a grey gown covering the leading half of the body.
The images were handled Bang Saen beach in the Thai province of Chon Buri last Thursday.
But fortunately the ‘body’ ended up being something far less ominous.
Naturally panicking, some anxious beachgoers called the cops to report the body.
Paramedics and police officers hurried to the scene to discover the victim– and quickly found it was simply a sensible sex doll without a head.
It is believed to be a Japanese design called the ‘AV Idol’.
The doll is approximated to cost around 20,000 Thai baht– the equivalent of ₤469
Police believe the doll might have been discarded in a canal or river and ultimately wound up remaining in the sea, prior to being cleaned up on the beach.
The product is being kept at a regional police headquarters in case its owner chooses they wish to recover their doll.
