NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg stated on Sunday that Russia may utilize chemical weapons following its intrusion of Ukraine which such a relocation would be a war criminal offense, according to an interview in German paper Welt am Sonntag.

“In recent days, we have heard absurd claims about chemical and biological weapons laboratories,” Stoltenberg was priced quote by Welt am Sonntag as stating, including that the Kremlin was developing incorrect pretexts to validate what might not be warranted.

“Now that these false claims have been made, we must remain vigilant because it is possible that Russia itself could plan chemical weapons operations under this fabrication of lies. That would be a war crime,” Stoltenberg was priced quote as stating.

He included that although the Ukrainian individuals were withstanding the Russian intrusion with nerve, the coming days are most likely to bring even higher challenge.
