The New York Publish is getting kudos for its entrance web page, double entendre headline about Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ beef with American Media Inc. honcho David Pecker.
Friday’s entrance web page performed on Bezos accusing the Pecker’s Nationwide Enquirer of threatening to publish “intimate pictures” of him, together with a “under the belt selfie,” and probably compromising pictures of his reported girlfriend, former TV anchor Lauren Sanchez, if he didn’t finish an investigation into the corporate and its alleged political ties.

The all-caps headline, “BEZOS EXPOSES PECKER,” graced the paper – a lot to the delight of double entendre devotees.
The Nationwide Enquirer revealed a narrative final month that included lurid texts between Bezos and Sanchez. Since then, non-public investigators for the billionaire have been wanting into how the Enquirer obtained the texts. That set off, based on Bezos, a menace to again off or danger having the non-public pictures uncovered.
The New York Metropolis tabloid is on a roll, as Thursday’s front page declared “Virginia is for losers,” a jab on the state’s on-going scandals involving three prime politicians. Friday’s headline reminds media watchdogs of different basic tabloid headlines, resembling “Headless Physique in Topless Bar,” which ran again in 1983 and is remembered as a legendary entrance web page in journalism circles.

Many followers of the provocative Bezos headline instantly took to Twitter.
In the meantime, others by some means didn’t really feel the duvet was artistic sufficient.
