NFL gamer Chad Wheeler was officially charged with domestic violence on Wednesday, Jan. 27 after he was jailed over the weekend.
The 27-year-old offending lineman, who played in 5 video games with the Seattle Seahawks throughout the 2020-2021 season, is implicated of attacking his sweetheart in Kent, a residential area of Seattle. He was jailed early in the early morning on Saturday, Jan. 23 and was launched after publishing $400,000 in bail.
According to court files acquired by E! News, the professional athlete was charged with first-degree domestic violence attack, domestic violence illegal jail time and withstanding arrest. The files declare that he strangled the victim till she passed out.
In a case summary sent by the prosecuting lawyer and acquired by E! News, Wheeler is implicated of “viciously” assaulting the female. The files state in part, “When the victim regained consciousness, for the second time, and began to realize what had just happened, she observed the defendant come back into the bedroom and calmly, with surprise, remark, ‘oh, you’re still alive.'”
