Last week, fires started stressing out of control in high canyons near Sequoia National Park, which includes a few of the world’s biggest trees as determined by volume. As the flames approached, park authorities covered the bases of some trees in fire-resistant aluminum blankets to secure the giants. As of Monday, the flames had actually primarily gone by the greatest trees, although the blankets were most likely lesser to their redemption than the regulated burns the park has actually carried out in current years, a park authorities informed SFGate.
