AP reporters noticed teams of hooded folks in black shouting anti-police slogans, mixing with different protesters sporting yellow vests or waving union flags.
French authorities warned “radical activists” might be part of the Paris demonstration and renew scenes of violence that marked earlier yellow vest protests and Might Day demonstrations up to now two years.
Greater than 7,400 police have been deployed in Paris.
Yellow vests have joined conventional Might Day union march to point out their widespread rejection of French President Emmanuel Macron’s financial insurance policies.
