If there may be one good thing that we are able to be taught from the individuals of East Malaysia, it’s how tolerant they are often of one another. The multi-ethnic and multi-religious teams of individuals there’ll repeatedly give attention to the commonalities as an alternative of dwelling on their variations.

This announcement has prompted tonnes of positive reactions from the community in East Malaysia — including Malays! — and they make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside. One love!
We were touched by how united and supportive the community there are despite the differences in their faith and beliefs.
We will be stepping into 2020 next year and while we haven’t exactly reached our developmental goals, we still have time to work towards building strong relationships within the communities around us. Hopefully, we can learn a lesson or two from our siblings in East Malaysia because we are all in this together.
