Punky power is back!
On Wednesday, Jan. 6, Peacock exposed the release date and the very first image for the brand-new and highly-anticipated Punky Brewster series. The program, which is an extension of the precious ’80s comedy, follows Punky Brewster (Soleil Moon Frye) as she takes on single motherhood. However, when Punky fulfills Izzy (Quinn Copeland), a girl in the foster care system, she is advised of herself.
Joining Frye and Copeland in the brand-new cast picture is Cherie Johnson, who is repeating her function, Freddie Prinze Jr., Noah Cottrell, Oliver De Los Santos and Lauren Lindsey Donzis.
As Peacock notified us, all 10 of the brand-new Punky Brewster episodes will drop on the NBCUniversal streaming service on Thursday, Feb. 25. Now, if you’re excited for some Punky prior to the February best, you can binge past episodes on Peacock as they have the entire initial series.
Speaking of the initial program, it aired on NBC from 1984 to 1986, then in syndication up until 1988.
