QPR chairman Tony Fernandes’ UFC audition failed to impress Dana White.
Fernandes met the President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship ahead of Michael Bisping’s bout with George St-Pierre.
Billionaire Fernandes, who owns airline Air Asia, was gifted a pair of fighting gloves from White.
The 53-year-old tried to put on one of the gloves but needed White’s assistance as he struggled to put it on his left hand.
But it was to get slightly more embarrassing for the pair when Fernandes realised he had been gifted two left-handed gloves.
After bursting out in laughter, White joked: “You owe me a plane and I owe you a right glove.”
White has been a busy man leading up to UFC 217 after he was forced to separate Bisping and GSP during the weigh-in.
The duo face each in the early hours of Sunday morning with the Brit’s middleweight title on the line.
St-Pierre – who is returning from a four-year hiatus – is looking to become a two-weight world champion, having reigned supreme in the welterweight division.
Bisping – who is making the second defence of his belt after knocking out Luke Rockhold in June 2016 – weighed in under the limit at 184.6lb, slightly heavier than his opponent who hit the scales at 184.4lb.
And the animosity between the pair kicked up a level during their staredown at Madison Square Garden, with the two exchanging in a verbal war full of expletives.
The English star was attempting to intimidate his smaller rival – pointing in his face and shouting directly at him as he paced towards him.
But St-Pierre wasn’t biting to his antics, which left his opponent even more determined to get under his skin.
This left White being forced to intervene as he calmly ushered the Cypriot-born 38-year-old away.
