Steve Mullen guides you through Sunday’s racing from Stratford, Wetherby and Wincanton
MORTEMS LEAM was a close-up third here last time and should go close again off the same handicap mark. He tried to go from the front there and was only caught in the closing stages. We know conditions suit so there’s no reason why he won’t go close.
HONOURABLE GENT had plenty left in the tank when winning over course and distance last time out. He jumped well there and had the race won a long way from home. An 8lb rise in the weights shouldn’t be enough to stop him following up.

SHENEEDEDTHERUN will be a short order but showed enough when fourth at Southwell last time to win a race like this. She wasn’t asked too many questions there and should improve for the experience.
SHIMLA DAWN may well have needed the run when second at Kelso last time, beaten just over three lengths. He was off for six months coming into that contest and stays every yard of this distance.
VISERION was beaten just over a length at Sedgefield last time in what looked a slightly better race than this. He saves his best form for this 2m distance and is still open to improvement at this early stage of his career.
LEANNA BAN has been knocking on the door and was a game second here last month. That was over this distance and it’s a trip he has no problem of staying. He looks on a fair mark and should be in the shake-up again.
JANE LAMB was very green in the early stages of her debut at Market Rasen last time. But she showed lots of promise once the penny dropped and she came home well to finish second. She wouldn’t have to improve much to take this.
