ROGER EAST can’t referee within the Premier League after he failed his annual health check.
The Wiltshire official, 53, was answerable for 18 top-flight video games final season.
However Choose Group One ref East won’t be allowed to officiate any sport – both within the Prem or the Soccer League – till he proves his health.
It’s understood East was feeling unwell on the refs’ pre-season assembly and he didn’t full the check.
East was resulting from referee Gillingham’s League One conflict versus Burton Albion final Saturday.
However he was pulled off the fixture by his bosses on the PGMOL (Skilled Sport Match Officers Restricted) to get replaced by Lee Probert.
Fellow top-flight ref Simon Hooper, who was promoted alongside David Coote from Choose Group Two to One in the summertime, additionally failed his health check in July.
