What’s more effective than a mom’s love? Nothing, that’s what.
On Tuesday,Sept 14, Netflix launched the very first trailer for its motivating brand-new drama, Maid, which puts Margaret Qualley in the spotlight. In the series, which premieresOct 1, Qualley plays single mommy Alex, who tries to restore her life by ending up being a house maid after leaving her violent sweetheart Sean (Nick Robinson).
“I’m Alex,” the mom of one notes in a support system. “I’m trying to piece together how I got here.”
The resistant mom exposes that she does not have much of a support group. “My mom is undiagnosed bipolar, and she’s MIA right now,” she continues. “I got into college. I wanted to be a writer, but I got pregnant. Now I’m a single mom.”
Refusing to catch this circumstance, Alex handles the worst cleansing tasks. (Warning: If you do not like cockroaches, this trailer is not for you.)
“I don’t think I can do this,” she states after tossing up throughout one revolting task.
“So quit,” her manager recommends.
“I can’t quit,” she reacts. “I live for my daughter.”
