This change is a knockout.
Trevante Rhodes flaunts his heavyweight representation of Mike Tyson in the June 8 teaser for the Hulu series Mike, premiering August 25.
The video footage portrays Tyson in various phases of his life, culminating with the “Iron” Mike personality that ended up being simply as well-known outside the boxing ring. Rhodes shows off Tyson’s unbelievable body, notorious face tattoo and glossy gold tooth while stating “they call me a savage.”
Famed boxing promoter Don King (Russell Hornsby) and Tyson’s ex-wife Robin Givens (Laura Harrier) emerge, and we even get a preview at Tyson’s stunning ear-biting event with Evander Holyfield in 1997.
The eight-episode series “explores the tumultuous ups and downs of Tyson’s boxing career and personal life,” according to Hulu, “from being a beloved global athlete to a pariah and back again.”
Mike is from developer and film writer Steven Rogers, who currently brought us a take a look at one questionable, embattled professional athlete with 2017’s Tonya Harding biopic I, Tonya, starring Margot Robbie (She’ll executive fruit and vegetables Mike)
