The 29-year-old Ohio boxer has been replaced by top welterweight challenger and 2008 Olympic bronze medallist Yordenis Ugas
SHAWN PORTER has pulled out of his fight on the undercard of Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather due to personal reasons that include a death in the family.
The 29-year-old Ohio boxer was scheduled to fight former welterweight world title challenger Thomas Dulorme, but has now been replaced on the card by Yordenis Ugas.
The late stand-in is a top welterweight challenger and 2008 Olympic bronze medallist who has 19 wins and three defeats on his record.
Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions said: “On behalf of Mayweather Promotions we send our prayers and deepest condolences to the Porter family.
“In boxing we have to deal with curveballs that constantly come at us.
“Thomas Dulorme has been training hard and is ready to face Yordenis Ugas.
Ugas is a tough competitor that shouldn’t be overlooked, and Dulorme is ready.
“The fight fans are definitely in for an outstanding show between Dulorme and Ugas come August 26.”
And Dulorme has refused to let the late change affect his pre-fight plans.

Floyd Mayweather reveals no rematch clause in Conor McGregor contract and insists it WILL be his last fight
He said: “I have been training for this fight for a several weeks now, I knew at the-time Porter was going to be a tough challenger so I took training camp extremely serious.
“Fighting on a card this big, you cannot doubt anyone in front of you.

?McGregor v Mayweather Tips: 12/1 beast?
FLOYD MAYWEATHER is no KO machine.
His last knockout was Victor Ortiz in 2011 but that was shrouded in controversy. Before that, his previous victim had been Ricky Hatton in 2007.
So, even though we expect this fight to be one-sided, it will not end straight away.
Mayweather will toy with the inexperienced McGregor and we love Sun Bets’ 12/1 that Money wins in the fifth.
