As recorded on Sister Wives, Kody was “spiritually married” to Christine prior to their separation. During the Sister Wives One- on-One unique previously this year, the 53- year-old patriarch stated significant aspects that resulted in their separation were his resistance to deal with their intimacy, along with needing to handle reports that Christine wished to separate.
“I was at a point where I wanted her to address the rumors that I’ve been hearing from the kids, that she was threatening to leave,” he stated, including if they have actually had that challenging discussion, “How frank are we going to get? I don’t want her to leave.”
