SOL CAMPBELL claims he has “one of many biggest minds in soccer” – as he struggles to grasp why he missed out on getting the Oxford job.
Former England and Arsenal star Campbell held talks with the League One membership about taking cost on the membership after Pep Clotet was sacked final month.
However Oxford determined to not pursue their curiosity within the ex-defender and are as an alternative hoping to call Craig Bellamy as their new boss.
Now Campbell has hit out on the method he’s being neglected for his first managerial function – and fears golf equipment could also be frightened by the way in which he likes to talk his thoughts.
In a frank admission to podcast Highbury Heels, Campbell mentioned: “I can not imagine some folks, I am one of many biggest minds in soccer and I am being wasted due to an absence of expertise or ‘perhaps he talks his thoughts an excessive amount of’.
“I did go (for the Oxford job) and so they did not settle for me.
“Possibly it was an absence of expertise, issues like that, however it’s a full circle. Expertise? How do I get expertise? Nicely I want a job to get expertise.
“I do not need to go too low that it is a wrestle, and I do not need to go too low that I am beneath somebody and pondering ‘what am I doing right here?’.

“I’d relatively be managing a membership myself.
“I am assured and it isn’t prefer it’s rocket science to run a soccer membership, particularly once you get to that stage.
“For those who’re clever sufficient and a fast learner you’ll study fairly quickly, inside two or three video games, what the workforce wants, training-wise, to outlive in that league, get higher in that league, to get within the play-offs and even win the league.
“I am clever sufficient, it isn’t like I performed on a fox and canine pitch all my life.
“Go to Germany, they love individuals who converse their minds. They bought the roles.
“I am sorry that I’ve bought a thoughts, however do not be petrified of that. That must be one thing you need at your membership, however clearly not.”
Oxford hope to nominate former Manchester Metropolis and Liverpool striker Bellamy by the tip of the month.
