    Tragedy struck when a British traveler plunged to his death while ‘scaling a cannon’ in a town in Spain.

    The male, 23, arrived at rocks after falling in Sitges, southwest of Barcelona, in the early hours of Tuesday early morning.

    He was taken out of the water by a passer-by and among the 2 individuals he was with.

    But absolutely nothing might be done to conserve him and he was noticable dead at the scene.

    It’s thought he lost his balance and the occurrence is being dealt with as a mishap.

    A representative for the Mossos d’Esquadra local police stated: ‘He appears to have actually fallen from a reproduction cannon in front of a church by the sea ignoring rocks which exist to secure the sea wall and arrived at the rocks as he fell.

    ‘He was pulled out of the water by a passer-by and one of the people he was with. He was pronounced dead at the scene.’

    An examination has actually been released and an autopsy will happen.

    There is no proof at this phase indicating a criminal activity, officers included.
