Logan Roy is all set for a renewal.
In the very first video footage from the upcoming 4th season of HBO’s Succession, Logan (Brian Cox) is heard announcing “This is not the end,” prior to introducing into a rousing newsroom speech, flanked by Tom Wambsgans (Matthew Mcfadyen) and Cyd Peach (Jeannie Berlin).
“We’re killing the opposition,” Logan declares. “I’m going to build something better, faster, leaner, wilder. I love it here I f–king love it!”
The clip includes looks from all 4 of Logan’s kids–Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Shiv (Sarah Snook), Roman (Kieran Culkin) and Connor (Alan Ruck)– along with a smiling Greg (Nicholas Braun).
At completion of season 3, Tom– with the assumed aid of Greg– stabbed the more youthful Roys, consisting of Tom’s spouse Shiv, in the back by signaling Logan of their strategy to take control of the business.
Now, with the sale of Waystar Royco looming, things for the Roys and their inner circle are at a fever pitch.
