Jasmine Yarbrough didn’t make the guest list for Today news reader Sylvia Jeffreys’ wedding earlier this year to Peter Stefanovic, despite her relationship with Jeffrey’s colleague Karl Stefanovic.

But it seems the pair have now put the past behind them and were all smiles for the cameras as they wrapped an arm around each other at the highly anticipated David Jones Spring Summer 2017 fashion show on Wednesday evening.

David Jones launches Spring Summer trends

New trends will be shown at David Jones Spring Summer launch.

Yarbrough certainly has plenty to smile about now that her shoe line with Tamie Ingham, Mara and Mine, has been picked up by the department store.

Little was known about the former model, 33, before she met father-of-three Stefanovic, 43, and it seems she wants to keep it that way. Despite having a business to promote, she rushed off the David Jones black carpet rubbing a watery, red eye while declining an interview request by Fairfax Media.

Stefanovic and Yarbrough sat with their usual clique, Richard and Christian Wilkins and Jordan Barrett, at a dinner prepared by chef Neil Perry ahead of the fashion parade, away from Jeffreys and Lisa Wilkinson.

However, they did break away from the pack to chat to The Bachelor Matty Johnson, who was once said to be “very friendly with” Yarbrough. At one stage, it looked as if Stefanovic was giving Johnson a fatherly telling off as he jokingly wagged a finger in his direction.

Johnson, dressed in a dashing blue Calibre suit, was another who was keeping shtum on the night.

The star of Channel 10’s current highest-rating reality series was on strict orders by the the network not to speak about the show to the ire of some tabloid journalists present, but to the surprise of no one.

At a time of financial chaos at the station, it beggars belief that Ten wouldn’t want ample media coverage, especially at one of the biggest and most fabulous events on the Sydney social calendar.

International model and renowned ladies’ man Jordan Barrett, of Byron Bay, attended with his alleged “girlfriend”, former David Jones model Montana Cox.

Despite sitting with Cox all night and being spotted getting cosy together, Barrett told Fairfax Media on the black carpet that he is enjoying being single at the moment.

While it was Today show host, Lisa Wilkinson who let slip about their relationship, telling Stefanovic the next morning on the Channel 9 breakfast show: “[Barrett] was there with his lovely girlfriend Montana Cox.”

Ahead of stomping the runway alongside Victoria Secret models Shaina Shaik and Bridget Malcolm, Jesinta Franklin made sure to get in a pose with her husband, Sydney Swans star Lance “Buddy” Franklin on the black carpet.

While Franklin has no plans to ever take to the catwalk like Shaik’s fiance DJ Ruckus, he played the part of the supportive husband to a T, whooping and whistling every time his wife walked past, while sitting alongside her agent, Annie Kelly.

It was a more subdued affair on Monday evening when Pink Hope partnered with Australian Women’s Weekly to host a dinner at The Langham to celebrate the launch of their new online test that helps women assess their personal risk of developing breast and ovarian cancer.

“It has always been our mission to develop tools so that every Australian woman knows what their risks are and then take steps to manage their health,” said the founder of Pink Hope, Krystal Barter, of the #KnowYourRisk campaign.

Guests including Real Housewives of Sydney’s Athena X, Erin Molan and Richard Reid sipped on Laurent-Perrier champagne, as they listened to a panel hosted by the esteemed Dr. Mary Rickard.

As seen on Sundays in The Sun-Herald’s S liftout.
