WWE is reportedly facing a crisis after an outbreak of meningitis amongst its top wrestlers has put Sunday’s Tables, Ladders and Chairs pay-per-view under threat.
Former world champion Bray Wyatt is one of those believed to have been struck down by the illness on the Raw Brand.
The Daily Star claim that Wyatt’s real life brother and fellow grappler Bo Dallas and ring announcer JoJo Offerman are also suffering with viral meningitis.
And the outbreak has sparked fear within WWE owner Vince McMahon, who was this week linked with a takeover bid for Premier League side Newcastle United, and his fellow top brass of the world’s largest wrestling promotion.
The talent are all believed to be suffering from the infection which attacks the spinal cord and protective membranes around the brain.
The rest of the stars on the Raw brand are understandably worried about catching the dangerous illness too.
It can easily be spread by sneezing, coughing and close physical contact.
And it could have a major impact on Sunday’s TLC PPV.

Pro Wrestling Votes added to the speculation by tweeted: “Bray, Bo and JoJo have been off TV due to an illness. I will not report personal details, however that is the reason.
“I am hearing other Superstars may indeed be suffering from the same illness, and it may drastically impact Sunday’s PPV event.”

Meanwhile, Bo has been sent home to recover in an effort to stop the further spread of infection.
