Terrifying minute Sky News team come under Russian weapons fire

Dramatic video demonstrates how a group of reporters needed to leave from Russian attacks while they were attempting to cross a civilian bridge inUkraine

Sky News unique reporter Alex Crawford, 59, and her group were attempting to cross the Desna River, near Ukraine’s capital,Kyiv

Despite the bridge being among the last crossing points for civilians, the Russian armed force has actually begun assaulting it.

Ms Crawford and her group can be seen stopping the van to come down and hide as a voice can be heard yelling: ‘Get down!’ while loud surges noise in the background.

As the blasts begin to subside, Ms Crawford recalls at the electronic camera and attempts to continue offering her report.

But she is disrupted by the troubling screams of a civilian caution everybody about another round of inbound fire. So the team return into the van and ultimately make it through.

It follows Sky News primary reporter Stuart Ramsay and electronic camera operator Richie Mocklerwas were shot and injured while reporting inUkraine

The team were heading into the capital when a little surge went off below their automobile. Then Russian soldiers began shooting on them.

Footage reveals them yelling ‘we’ re simply reporters’ however this does not appear to sway the shooters.
