The Tesla-Panasonic solar batteries are delivering generally to a Singaporean-owned factory in the Philippines, a report states.

A bulk of the Panasonic solar batteries made at a Tesla plant in New York are supposedly being sent out to a factory in the Philippines instead of remaining in the United States.

The solar batteries are being bought by HRD Singapore, which provides photovoltaic panels to Ichijo, a Japanese eco-home structure business, according to a report Thursday from Reuters.

Tesla and Panasonic collaborated to make solar batteries and modules in 2016 following Tesla’s acquisition of SolarCity.

However, Reuters stated Panasonic’s prepares to deliver the majority of the cells to Tesla for its Solar Roof hallmark have actually failed “because of low demand from Tesla and a trade loophole that had fired up new foreign interest.”

Tesla didn’t right away react to an ask for remark.
