A fisherman in Texas hooked a large hammerhead shark on Saturday, describing the catch as one he “solely dreamed about” and the “shark catch of a number of lifetimes.”

Poco Cedillo posted on the South Texas Fishing Affiliation Fb web page that he was on the Padre Island Nationwide Seashore when he made the large catch.

Poco Cedillo stated he seen the shark was sick, and “very drained” when a bunch of individuals tried to launch it again into the Gulf of Mexico.

Cedillo stated that it took greater than an hour to reel within the shark, which was “that huge.” He then seen the huge shark was “very drained” and rapidly received a size measurement earlier than making an attempt to set it free again into the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The shark was 14 toes lengthy, with a fork size of 135 inches and a girth of 78 inches, in accordance with Cedillo.
