In this gig, I’m sometimes guilty of not featuring enough sales for men. So this week, we will kick off with a major sale at Herringbone and Rhodes & Beckett, both of which were recently placed into voluntary administration.

There are discounts on absolutely everything in their ranges, including suits, pants, shirts, belts and accessories. And there are also plenty of ladies’ styles, too.

Online and in selected stores. Check websites for details. While stocks last.

Melbourne brand Lunar and Storm, founded by friends Carla and Meaghan in 2015, is all about contemporary pieces with clean lines. Its classic staples include an open trench coat, which is one of the key layering pieces this season and into spring. The label is having a pop-up sale with free coffee – a must for any chilly Melbourne weekend.

155 Gertrude Street, Fitzroy. Saturday Noon-6pm, Sunday 10am-6pm.

Now that you have your basics sorted, you may need some accessories. Australian label Olga Berg has current season samples as well as past seasons’ stock from as low as $5. On sale are clutches, leather day bags, wallets, cosmetic cases, millinery and more.

427 Glenhuntly Road, Elsternwick. Starts May 30. Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday-Sunday 10am-5pm.

If your jeans or weekend wardrobe has seen better days, Jeanswest is having a 40 per cent off store-wide sale. The company has recently launched a new wool range, which is worth checking out as we get closer to the official start of winter. Our pick during the sale is this denim-washed jogger pant, which will be reduced from $99.95 to less than $60.

Online and in store. Check website for details. Starts Friday, ends Sunday.

When I think of Guess jeans, I think of Claudia Schiffer, Anna Nicole Smith and, more recently, Gigi Hadid. From Monday, the denim brand is having 50 per cent off selected stock, including women’s and men’s outerwear, denim, dresses and accessories.

During the pop-up, FRANKiE4 will offer shoppers 20 per cent off new styles, as well as a daily prize.

Just launched

Known for the pizza boxes in which it packages its sweaters, local brand GOOD CMPNY has launched its latest range, dubbed “Neapolitan”.

Just like the ice-cream grandma used to serve, the latest range of sweats are in hues of white, pink, black and grey, and are unisex.

From the runway to street style, logo sweaters have become a wardrobe must-have – and not just for wearing to and from the gym.

At Fashion Week Australia, street style stars showed how to pair a sweatshirt with a ball skirt or jeans and heels for a look that’s anything but slouchy.

The sweaters don’t officially launch until May 27 but you can pre-order now through the website.

#inthecart: body scrubs

While reading this week that the new frank body shimmer scrub has an online waiting list of 50,000 orders, I’ve learned two things: people love to scrub when the weather gets cold; and it’s very now to look like a unicorn.

Given my hoofs and skin are looking a little like a dried up olive in the sun, I’m booking in some elbow grease time with myself this weekend. Here’s a selection to get you in the mood for scrubbin’.
