Tiger Woods offered fans a health upgrade simply 2 days prior to he was hospitalized. 

The professional golf player was taken by ambulance to the healthcare facility on Tuesday, Feb. 23, after he was hurt in a single-car crash near Rolling Hills Estate and Rancho Palos Verdes in California. 

His representative Mark Steinberg informed NBC News he experienced several leg injuries and remains in surgical treatment. Lt. Michael White informed E! News the injuries are “non-life threatening,” and authorities do not presently think alcohol was associated with the mishap. 

Over the weekend, Woods acted as the Tournament Host of The Genesis Invitational 2021 at the Riviera Golf Course, where he discussed how he was feeling following his 5th back surgical treatment in December. 

“I’m feeling fine,” Woods informed commentator Jim Nantz on Sunday, Feb. 21. “I’m a little bit stiff.” 

He stated he had another MRI arranged to see if his annulus fibrosus had actually scarred over. “Then I can start doing more activities,” the 45-year-old professional athlete shared. “But still in the gym, still doing the mundane stuff that you have to do for rehab, you know, the little things, before I can start gravitating towards something a little more.”
