According to a new statement shared to social networks on Friday, Feb. 26, Tiger went through extra treatments after being transferred to a 2nd Los Angeles medical facility.
“Tiger has moved to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and received follow-up procedures on his injuries this morning,” the upgrade read. “The procedures were successful, and he is now recovering and in good spirits.”
Additionally, the professional athlete and his household “want to thank you all for the wonderful support and messages they have received over the past few days.”
“We will not have any further updates at this time,” the declaration concluded.
It’s not yet clear the length of time Tiger is anticipated to stay hospitalized. Following Tuesday early morning’s mishap, he was required to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and went through emergency situation surgical treatment on his lower ideal leg and ankle.
