TRAINER Tom George is hoping Double Shuffle can hit prime gear within the Badger Ales Trophy Handicap Chase on Saturday.

Double Shuffle was a late withdrawal from the Charlie Corridor Chase as the bottom was unsuitable final weekend, ensuing within the seven-year-old being rerouted to Somerset.

“The bottom went improper for him up at Wetherby, which is why he did not run there,” stated George.

“He is in good type and we’re taking 3lb off, which is able to assist his trigger. Ciaran Gethings rides and I am trying ahead to a great run.”

Neil Mulholland reports Southfield Royale and Pilgrims Bay in prime shape for their return to action.
