Yay Area! The most legendary fight of the Bay Area happened on Saturday, Dec. 19, with the E-40 vs. Too Short Verzuz fight.
This “Rapper’s Ball” was various than any other Verzuz and not even if it apparently had the most significant spending plan for such an occasion yet.
“It’s not just a battle,” Too Short informed The Ringer recently prior to the fight, called the “Legends of the Bay.” “It’s not just displaying your catalog, trying to outdo somebody else. It was like, this could be a bigger situation for the Bay, just as far as the story being told.”
E-40 included, “We’re going to showcase what the unlaced has yet to see or hear.”
Doing simply that, the veterans let the more youthful generation understand that a few of their preferred club strikes tested their initial music. DJ Khaled‘s single “For Free,” which functions Drake tasting Too Short’s “Blow the Whistle,” and Three Six Mafia samples E-40’s “Captain Save A Hoe” in their tune “Shake Dat S–t.” The leaders even yelled out some artists who have actually tested their tunes, such as Yo Gotti and Gucci Mane.
