TOBY ALDERWEIRELD is set to be offered a double-your-money deal to fend of interest from rivals.

The in-demand defender wants similar terms as top earners Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris, who both take home over £100,000 per week.

Belgian international Alderweireld, 28, is in a strong position with a number of clubs interested, reports the Daily Mail.

His current deal lasts until 2019 with the option for Spurs to trigger an option for an additional year.

Doing so would active a £25million release clause which could be removed if he signs new terms.


White Hart Lane chiefs are keen to keep their squad together but must stick within a tight wage structure.
