A British young boy has actually drowned in a swimming pool while remaining at a hotel with his household for a wedding event in Turkey.
The 14- year-old entered into trouble as he swam with his auntie at the luxury Liberty Lara beach hotel near Antalya on Sunday.
A hotel visitor stated the young boy was dragged unconscious from the swimming pool by a barman and offered CPR prior to being hurried to medical facility.
They declared no lifeguard was around at the time, however a hotel representative stated this was ‘categorically untrue’.
The observer informed The Sun: ‘They tried very hard to revive the boy at the side of the pool but it was too late. It’ s so unfortunate, especially when you consider they were there for such a pleased factor.’
After evaluating CCTV video from the swimming pool location, the hotel representative stated lifeguards were on the scene within 30 seconds.
They included they have an extra lifeguard to guarantee their 5 swimming pools are not left ignored when one takes a lunch break.
A Tui representative stated they have a group at the resort and are supporting the household ‘in whatever way we can’.
‘The safety and wellbeing of our customers is our primary concern and our dedicated resort team is supporting the authorities and hotel with their investigations,’ they included.
The Foreign Office stated: ‘We are supporting the family of a British boy who has died in Turkey and are in contact with the local authorities.’
