Two time heavyweight champion of the world Shannon ‘The Cannon’ Briggs has advised TMZ Sports activities that he’s set to face Tyson Fury for his first combat again in two years.
Briggs stated he’ll knock Fury out within the first spherical once they come to fulfill in April 2018.
Briggs claims he has been in talks with Fury for some time saying he would be the former heavyweight champion’s opponent for his return combat.
The 46-year-old stated: “I really feel just like the combat goes to occur subsequent 12 months we’ve been speaking for a while now.
“It’s going to be a terrific combat, he’s been off for 2 to 3 years now, I’ve been off for over a 12 months, I’m going to beat his ass.
Briggs stated he’ll beat Fury with “rhythm,” taking the combat to the center of the ring.
“Rhythm, he’s a rhythm fighter – I’m a rhythm fighter we’re going to take it to the center of the ring.
“If he tries to field me I’m going to bum-rush him, if he tries to slug with me I’m going to put on him down – I’m going to knock him out, that is the heavyweight championship combat.

Briggs has been turned down massive fights since he introduced his comeback to boxing in 2014 however says Fury has accepted to combat him as a result of he has coronary heart and he isn’t scared.
Briggs stated: “He bought coronary heart and he ain’t afraid of me.
“He’s like you recognize what, it is a nice combat, he realises that it is a nice combat for England – a terrific combat as he’ll be seen by the People.

Briggs said he respects Fury for facing him.
“This is a guy stepping up to the plate and I respect him for that,” Briggs said.
On when the fight may happen, Briggs said: “We’re looking at April right now.”
Briggs predicts he will only need just one round to knockout Fury. I’m calling it right now.
“Round one, I will knock Tyson Fury out in one round. That’s how hard I’m hitting.
Briggs said he has put an end to his sparring sessions as he has been sending his sparring partners to hospital.
“I’ve been destroying sparring partners – putting them in the hospital, I stopped putting up the training because it was getting too bloody – too vicious man”.
