Tyson Fury was attending the clash between Saunders v Monroe jr when he declared that he had turned his life around and was like a boomerang- back to take on the world champion
TYSON FURY claims he has turned his life around and is ready for the great, British fight against Anthony Joshua that everyone wants to see.
Fury was confident that the fight against the heavyweight world champion would be easy with his boxing skill set.
The 29-year-old self-titled ‘Gypsy King‘ has not been in the ring for almost two years, since he fought Wladmir Klitschko to become world champion in 2015.
Whereas 27-year-old Joshua, the current unified world heavyweight champion, was last in the ring in April and has been retaining his fitness and preparing for his fight against Kubrat Pulev.
Fury has returned to a gruelling training regime in a bid to work his way back into boxing.
The 6ft 9ins boxer has struggled with his weight since his boxing license was revoked and admitted being eight stone overweight.
Speaking to BT Sport he was confident that he was now on the right-track, he said: “I’ve lost nearly two stone in two weeks, everything’s going really well for me at the moment.
“I’m a long way from entering back in the ring, but I’m in the right path. You know what they call me don’t you, the boomerang — I always come back.
Fury, who has previously announced that he was retiring from the sport before changing his mind, said: “I’ve really turned my life around and I feel a lot better than I did before, starting to get everything great again.
“I’m back enjoying the gym work and that’s how it’s supposed to be.”
When pushed on the subject about a possible match up with Anthony Joshua, he took a swipe at the world champion and said: “It’s an easy fight for me.”
He appeared confident in his ability, compared to Joshua, he said: “It’s a fight people want to see — It’s a fight that I would love, I think it’s an easy fight for me with my boxing skill.”
