Pals of the star, worth an estimated £17.5million, are said to have wrecked his room
UFC champion Conor McGregor’s hotel suite was trashed and 20 laughing gas canisters were left in the wreckage.
The 28-year-old star hired specialists to clean up after thousands of pounds of damage, it is claimed.
McGregor, nicknamed Notorious, started five days of wild partying at the Grand National while his pregnant partner was at home in Ireland.
The next day he checked into the Hilton Liverpool where the presidential suite costs £300 a night.
Pals of the star, worth an estimated £17.5million, are said to have wrecked his room.
A source said: “There were canisters all over the floor, smashed glass and food lying about.
“They damaged sofas and left cig butts and his Irish flag.”
The source said: “He got people in there to clean because of the level of damage. It’s just been carnage. Just full-on partying.”

McGregor, 28, spent last week flashing the cash in the city after jetting in last weekend.
After turning up at the race course in a convoy of white Rolls Royces, McGregor hosted a Grand National after-party at a city centre club before hitting another club on Sunday night.
On Monday, the MMA legend was pictured posing on the bonnet of a Rolls Royce at a house party in Huyton after winning 20,000 Euros.
He checked out of the Hilton on Thursday but had to be smuggled out via a secret exit leaving dozens of screaming fans disappointed.
McGregor left Liverpool on Thursday in his private jet – cradling wads of cash.
The UFC star was dressed in a grey tracksuit, with a red bag full of notes on his lap. The Irish fighter appeared to have a bruised knuckle on his left hand and looked exhausted from his week of partying.
There is no suggestion McGregor took laughing gas.
